    Soldiers Bring Joy and Support to Bilogai Village

    Intan Jaya - Soldiers from the Indonesian Armed Forces, part of the Raider Infantry Battalion 509, have stepped up to support the local community in Bilogai Village, located in Intan Jaya Regency, Papua. On Sunday, October 13, 2024, they conducted a patrol in the area and distributed essential food packages to residents.

    Under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, the team, led by First Lieutenant Abdian, not only ensured security but also took the time to connect with the villagers. Their visit was met with joy, as residents appreciated the opportunity to meet the soldiers face-to-face.

    The distribution of basic necessities brought smiles and laughter to the community. One resident, Mr. Antonius Sondegau, shared his gratitude: "Praise God, thank you Commander 509 for the packages. God bless."

    Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, the commanding general of HABEMA, praised the initiative, stating, "This effort shows TNI's commitment to supporting the basic needs of the community and advancing development in Papua." His recognition highlights the positive impact of such actions on the region's future.

    The soldiers' visit not only provided immediate aid but also strengthened the bond between the military and the local community, fostering hope for ongoing collaboration and development.
